Charice won as J-14 Magazine’s Icon of Tomorrow

Our very own Charice Pempengco won as the J-14 magazine Icon of Tomorrow Award. Charice gave thanks to her fans club “CIA – Charice Internet Army” for this success, for having there always and specially for voting her as “Best Oprah Show Musical Performance”. Charice beat the big singing stars namely Whitney Houston, James Taylor, Michael Buble, Journey and the Black Eyed Peas.

On Oprah.com online poll Charice got 70% of votes based on her “Note to God” performance while Black Eyed Peas got 9% of votes. The Internet Army of Charice is the one who made Charice as the “Best Oprah Show Musical Performance” this is Charice edge to other singing stars that was included on the nomination.

To those who don’t have an idea what is J-14 Magazine well this is the #1 teen celebrity magazine and our own Charice will be the cover for December issue. Anyways this December issue is now available so “Charice Internet Army” what are you waiting for grab a copy now! Glee is the first TV series of Charice in the US and she plays the role of Sunshine Corazon which will compete against Rachel.

For this year Glee won as “Iconic TV Show”. At present Charice is taking online classes on her bachelor’s degree in communications. Charice is featured also on “14 Seconds with the Stars” in which they will be asked for the best gifts they have ever given. “Charice replied saying that she will give a laptop on the fan who will first post a video on YouTube”.

Charice might be the first Asian singer to be the major pop singer in the US based on New York Daily News report.
